“We have gained insight in the innovative ways in which prison staff members are supported by Kethea in order to install a more positive environment in prison both for prison staff and for individuals in prison. We are able to gain insight in what works in prisons where Kethea is active and brainstorm on the ways in which this can be implemented in our own work place in Belgium.
We visited the counseling center and the therapeutic community in the prison, where we were shown and told about the daily operation of the center and the community.
We also visited the Family Support Center, where we learned about the daily operation of the center. In addition, we had a presentation about the Family Support Center, where we shared in-depth knowledge on daily practice.”
