Ecett Networks conducted a training through the exchange of practices in Therapeutic Communities between Equatorial Guyana and Belgium in August.
Six members of the AKATIJ team, a therapeutic community for women in French Equatorial Guyana, came to spend ten days immersed in two Belgian therapeutic communities: Phénix in Namur and Trempoline near Charleroi.
This is is a “blended learning” training, i.e. ten videoconferences which have already taken place for the 12 members of the Guyanese team + immersion stays in Belgium for two teams of six facilitators, + sending of two Belgian trainers in Guyana (November) + online coaching of the team at the end of the year. All this, thanks to the support of Erasmus+ (EU)
The first group of trainees has just left for Guyana. They were enthusiastic about the welcome, the humanism of the approach of the two Belgian teams, and the best practices they bring home. We will share their individual feedback with you in October.
